  1. Glad you made this movie – but you have to get a screening in Portland, OR! Please. This town loves the ‘Mats, it has a good indie scene of its own and many independent movie theatres. Please check it out, research it and bring your movie to Portland! I am 39, my older 1/2 brother grew up in Minneapolis, he is 46, and he would bring out tapes of the band to California when I was a kid. I love them, no one knew who the hell they were amongst my friends, but I pushed on everyone listening to Poison, Motley Crue, and whateverthehell else. Hope to see you here,.\

  2. Any idea when NYC will be blessed with a screening?

  3. Fingers crossed for a Seattle screening!

  4. Please please please come to the Philadelphia/Wilmington, DE area!! Would love to see this movie screened at our local art theatre in Wilmington, DE. Check out Theatre N in Wilmington. Lots of fans here. Thanks!

  5. How about a screening in Providence, RI??! pretty please?

    • Unfortunately it won’t be screening in Providence, but we’ll be having free screening in New Haven at Yale some time this fall, which hopefully you’ll be able to make. We’re still working out the details and will announce them on this blog as well as on our Twitter feed and Facebook page as soon as we know more.

  7. Let’s get this thing to DC !!! Lots of Replacements fans from around the whole world live in this town.

  8. san jose ca needs this movie. camera theatre’s are a great independent showplace. I am an organizing mofo. Can we talk?

  9. Thanks for your work on this film. Please find a way to have a screening in Saint Louis, MO! Local indie-ish theaters include the Tivoli and the Hi-Pointe, and Webster University hosts film series/screenings as well.

    • Scott, here’s how to get the movie to play your town:
We need theatres like the Northwest Film Forum in Seattle. Look it up. See what they book. If it’s a chain, FORGET IT. If it books movies only for a week at a time. FORGET IT. We need a theatre that books INDIE movies for one or two nights, or a weekend. We need someone in the town to pester the hell out of them, and set it up. YOU do legwork. This is how Vancouver and Eugene happened. And don’t do it on Facebook. Do research, then send me an email: ColorMeObsessed@gmail.com

      Thanks!

  10. Please please are we likely to see it in Australia, my life was changed forever by the ‘mats.

  11. San Jose ca. needs this film. What can I do to make it happen?

  12. Can you please screen it in Ottawa, Ontario? I saw the ‘Mats, they played here on their last tour and sold out, I’m sure there would be interest. In Ottawa we have the Bytowne Theatre that specializes in one night screenings of independent releases.

  16. I noticed you just recently had a screening in Chattanooga, which I unfortunately missed (dammit). Any thoughts on perhaps screening the film in Knoxville, Tn, say, the Tennessee Theatre? It is not a chain and it is a wonderful theatre. I’ll e-mail you a link to their website to check it out, and I’ll do whatever I possibly can to pester the heck out of everyone involved down this way.

    • Hi Nolan,

This is what we need from you if you want to try and get the film to play Knoxville: We need a theater that books indie movies for one or two nights, or a weekend. We need someone in the town to pester the hell out of them, and then set it up. YOU do legwork. This is how Vancouver and Eugene happened — people in those towns putting together the screenings. Do the research, get in touch with the theaters to see if they’re interested and when they’d want to have a screening, and then send me an email: ColorMeObsessed@gmail.com

      Thanks!

  17. What about Ann Arbor, MI?? At the State theater or the film fest?
